Notes for Anakleto (Kleto) FRANIĆ KEŠIĆ [Pulentonov]
House (Kuća) 59

Kleto was in the merchant navy - could have been an Austrian or Italian line.
He left Šepurina in May,1906 before his son, Ivan (Sokol) was born in November. According to family history from letters he sent home, he was working in Montevideo, Uruguay on a building site, tunnel site or mining site. He never returned to Šepurina and nothing was ever heard from him or about him again.

He was 28 when he left Šepurina for the last time. He left behind three children. His wife, Jerka, never married again and never dressed in widow’s black - as was customary in Dalmatia and much of Southern Europe.
