Sokol and Kata moved back to Croatia. He built a House (Kuća) in Sepurina - one of the last House (Kuća)s, near the cemetery. After Sokol died, Kata inherited the House (Kuća) and is a beneficiary of his US pension.
She was previously married and has children and grandchilren from her first marriage.
Sokol and Kata were introduced to each other by Roka Grubelic (Franic) a distant relative. Kata was a kitchen worker on a school camp staying at the hostel in Prvić Luka (the former fish processing factory) when they were introduced.
There is no contact with Zdravko (Sokol’s son).
